Goodbye, Farewell, Until We Meet Again
While we ring in a new year and hope for great prosperity and happiness to all, COMA Music Magazine has a very difficult announcement to make.
As many folks know, over the years COMA has seen many changes of hands; some for the best and some which didn’t end up going the way we’d hoped. As a result, despite years of hard work and dedication, it is with great sadness that we announce that this is the end for COMA.
First and foremost, we want to thank all of the work put in by our staff and contributors who have never let us down over the years, and have provided us with eleven years of faithful entertainment coverage. The biggest thanks goes out to you, our support, our backbone, our readers. Without you none of this would have been possible. We also want to thank all the publicists and artists who have worked with us over the years. It was our greatest pleasure to support you all and showcase your talent.
The decision to close down COMA was not an easy one to come by. We have put many years of blood, sweat, tears, and funds to provide you, our readers, with great content and a kick-ass festival to celebrate a decade of being in this business. Unfortunately, the business is changing, and there just isn’t a place for us anymore. We have always tried to grow with the times and have even expanded what we cover in order to provide our readers with more unique articles, but the Internet is saturated with e-zines and blogs serving the same scenes/communities.
We wish everyone the greatest of luck with their future endeavors and we are so proud to have provided a service to you, our dedicated readers. Thank you, once again, for being with us on this wild ride. We wouldn’t have made it this far without you.
The site and our social media will stay up indefinitely for archival purposes.
